There is just something warming, and yet intellectually serious about a British accent narrating these things. Le Goosebumps

IF YOU SEE THIS COMMENT - STOP WATCHING! It's terrible and not worth it. Instead type in the search bar "When we left the earth" Find episode 6 - "A home in space" and you'll get far better info. It's archive footage rather than terrible acting, and the info is far less dumbed down.

I would have took my chances and exit the Challenger and floated in space with the suit until help could came rather than die in a fire
-
NASA could have transferred the crew to the ISS using suits.
Then the Columbia's crew could have returned to Earth on the Russian Souze reentry attached to the ISS, each one fits 3. Those remaining could have stayed on the ISS.
NASA engineers could have attempted to develop an in orbit repair kit of the damaged carbon-carbon panel.
Scientific research could have been recovered off Columbia to be returned to Earth later.
Columbia could have been remotely piloted & landed. -
Sad , but what I don't understand is why is the jew flag next to the u.s. flag in the group foto ? where there hidden messages/signs like you sometimes see in symbols ? .. the narrator also says " it orbits , London , Beijing , TEL AVIV , new York " is it the jews superiority complex & conceited self-importance again & making sure they get their devious way ? im sure the other nationalities would have liked their countries flag represented ... did the filthy bastards say , you can put the u.s flag up with ours but nobody else can .. worthless pieces of shit ...........

they killed knowingly what damage the debris did to the tile wtf
-
so the astronauts where conscious and knew they were going to die and end up burnt to death, like dust, wow, what a sad end
-
pornhub called they want the actors back

I just can't believe that NASA would use a vehicle that is so obsolete! It makes me sick that our laptops can do more then those out of date 60s and 70s computers, I mean why not update everything! Can someone maybe explain this to me cuz I'm just floored that NASA would put people's lives in jeopardy with such antiquated equipment!!

Nothing we can do the appolo 13 exploded in space and it took a lot of effert but they where helped from the ground and they found for every problem a solution but they wil think twice now it happende again till we are 20 years further and again they dont stand up.
-
I don't know about NASA procedures, but 5 meetings about 17 frames of film sounds like they considered those frames to be pretty important.
-
Why did they use computer technology from the late 60s and early 70s?
-
Sure are a lot of people here who think they're smarter than everyone else and could have saved those lives, when in reality there's not a god damn thing that could have been done and anyone with a basic understanding of the situation, orbital mechanics, and the time frame they had would know.

A real drop in quality for Zero Hour. I liked the earlier Zero Hour programs about the gas attack on the Tokyo Metro and the Chernobyl disaster, but this one is a straight-up shill program for NASA. We all know that floating around in zero G is amazing, no need to hear another astronaut gush about it.

Bad acting

"Willie McCool" that's a badass name, take out the Mc and I'd sound like "really cool"

I read a fascinating article about a rescue for this shuttle, it was one of the most intriguing things I ever read. Although it wouldn't have been possible in real life in my view, it would have been incredible had it actually taken place. This mission also couldn't dock with the ISS, which wouldn't have had the supplies had it been able. So they were damned if they do, damned if they didn't sadly.

This happens when you put a woman in a position of great responsibility. I'm glad that Linda Ham bitch was demoted and removed from the program.

The time line is so screwed up in this program. Flight director thinking about sending them around for another orbit, when the program as already shown the orbiter half way through the fire ball stage of de-orbit. Flight director asking his team to check that the tracking systems on the ground were working ok, because they had lost all tracking data, but then one operator announces he's just had a tyre pressure problem, and the film is still showing the totally unaware crew. The crew and orbiter were already gone when flight failed to pick up tracking data, and obviously the tyre pressure data was received before data and tracking data was lost.
Just lots of stupid and avoidable mistakes being made in a documentary who's subject deserves a great deal more thought. Who was this documentary aimed at, a bunch of 5 year old's? because anyone older than that would have spotted such simple mistakes in the time line. -
I thank its fake because the guy who's filming aren't they daed the camera will of barn
