Here's an extended cut of us sending an X-Wing up to the edge of space on 21st April 2015. (Yes, we know we were only a third of the way to the Karman Line, get over it! It's was our first launch and 119,000ft (36km) was space enough for us!!) You'll be glad to know we've also left off the annoying yellow writing too. In fact there's no graphics overlay at all. (Just a polite request at the end to tweet #HeyJJ to @Bad_Robot!) All the footage is also 'raw' it hasn't been sped up, slowed down or tweaked in any way, apart from a few transitions between altitudes. We'll overlay telemetry and perhaps upload the full thing at a later date. Let us know if you'd like to see it. We're just glad our R2 unit managed to make us crash-land before we hit the electricity pylons at the end... HAPPY STAR WARS DAY!!! Matt & Phil, May the 4th 2015. Music: http://www.altusmusic.ca/grandexpanse/ Towards the Galactic Centre Flight Data: We drove 50 miles from Cambridge to Bozeat to recover the payload. http://360.g8dhe.net/HAB_Flights/2015_Flights/PrjHeT_20150421/ Looking forward to Rogue One! Proper X-Wings in that!
