2013-04-16 - CSA Astronaut Chris Hadfield performed a simple science experiment designed by grade 10 Lockview High School students Kendra Lemke and Meredith Faulkner. The students from Fall River, Nova Scotia won a national science contest held by the Canadian Space Agency with their experiment on surface tension in space using a wet washcloth. saving space on space! lol, for some reason it sound really funny to me! also, what happens to the water when you drink it in zero gravity? i mean, does it just float in your stomach?

Chris Hadfield came down from space may 15th 2012. I miss his space videos so much! <:'(

So what happens to the water that got away from you? Does it float around till it gets into an electric panel and shorts out everything??

In space, water walks on you!

Check out this story I wrote. It's Science fiction and in 26th century times. Something mysterious is found hidden 500 metres below the surface of Mars. It brings new questions toward the very existence of humankind and ancient gods. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GJ9LRSU

I have watched an iss episode that shows they have a vacuum pipe for you to pee in and it can get messy all the time. very unpleasant experience it appears.

Wow you must've paid a lot of attention in your elementary science classes!! I'm very impressed! Bravo! You should be presented with a Noble Prize with that, I mean, that's such a great discovery because no one else know that except for you! Your parents must be proud.

As others have said this was in their free time. Additionally this was an educational exercise to help get kids interested in science where they answered questions that were asked by school kids. If you don't feel that educating and informing children about science and about space is a good use of time and money then you are a terribly misinformed and short sighted individual.
