When Will Time End?

The answer to this question may depend on whether Stephen Hawking was right in his theory that describes how black holes shed mass and eventually decay. Time is flying by on this busy, crowded planet as life changes and evolves from second to second. At the same time, the arc of the human lifespan is getting longer: 67 years is the global average, up from just 20 years in the Stone Age. Modern science provides a humbling perspective. Our lives, indeed even that of the human species, are just a blip compared to the Earth, at 4.5 billion years and counting, and the universe, at 13.7 billion years. It now appears the entire cosmos is living on borrowed time. It may be a blip within a much grander sweep of time. When, we now ask, will time end? Our lives are governed by cycles of waking and sleeping, the seasons, birth and death. Understanding time in cyclical terms connects us to the natural world, but it does not answer the questions of science. What explains Earth's past, its geological eras and its ancient creatures? And where did our world come from? How and when will it end? In the revolutions spawned by Copernicus and Darwin, we began to see time as an arrow, in a universe that's always changing. The 19th century physicist, Ludwig Boltzmann, found a law he believed governed the flight of Time's arrow. Entropy, based on the 2nd law of thermodynamics, holds that states of disorder tend to increase. From neat, orderly starting points, the elements, living things, the earth, the sun, the galaxy. are all headed eventually to states of high entropy or disorder. Nature fights this inevitable disintegration by constantly reassembling matter and energy into lower states of entropy in cycles of death and rebirth. Will entropy someday win the battle and put the breaks on time's arrow? Or will time, stubbornly, keep moving forward? We are observers, and pawns, in this cosmic conflict. We seek mastery of time's workings, even as the clock ticks down to our own certain end. Our windows into the nature of time are the mechanisms we use to chart and measure a changing universe, from the mechanical clocks of old, to the decay of radioactive elements, or telescopes that measure the speed of distant objects. Our lives move in sync with the 24-hour day, the time it takes the Earth to rotate once. Well, it's actually 23 hours, 56 minutes and 4.1 seconds if you're judging by the stars, not the sun. Earth got its spin at the time of its birth, from the bombardment of rocks and dust that formed it. But it's gradually losing it to drag from the moon's gravity.

as long as somethings moves at the smallest level, I would say "time" exist. Like heats make the atoms spin faster...

I love astronomy. It's so humbling.
And it shows the real beauty of God's work.
I do honestly believe in God, but I also believe in many scientific theories.
So therefore I love these videos because they show how mind boggling the universe is and how massive, complex, and amazing it is.
There may be octillions of Earthlike planets in our universe, and honestly I think that Earth being the only planet with life would be statistically impossible, there HAS to be at least ONE other civilization out there, we just haven't discovered it yet.
I believe in aliens, and I have a reason as to why we never were contacted by them.
"Aliens exist, but they're too far away for them to detect us, or vice versa."
And yes, time will eventually end. Nothing is infinite after all, except for Infinity. -
Is this LSD?

963 TIME IS NOT 369 ONLY WE BLOCKED OUR PERCEPTION 369 OF ALL DIMENSIONS BY MEASURING ACTIONS AND REACTIONS 369

Let it die, let it die. Let it shrivel up and die.

just allah knew it when end of the world

What if time starts going backwards sometime in the future?

One of the theories that are mind baffling as well...
Think of a possibility that you could fully control time itself. Time keeps moving but as it does, the information within the line is stored even if it was in past or will be in future. So technically if you had the ability to control time, you would be able to perceive absolutely every event from the beginning of " Time and everything around " itself until the end " if there is or will ever be any "
That opens another set of questions - would you need to exist in 4th dimension to begin with in order to do that ( 4th dimension is usually referred to time ) or is it actually possible to cross or enter that dimension from the one we already live in?
And as for time ending in 4th dimension, that is definitely not happening as " YOU " would be in control of the fundamentals of time in there so its pretty mind fuck but as everything goes, i am definitely sure it does not end there and again, theories are theories. -
Interesting beginning with a ride complements of the New York Transit Authority.
But, ummm...like when does God make an appearance?
<Heheheh> -
so it like super max then? nothing but time....
-
once the earth will stop spinning. time will end

This video made me feel so insignificant and worthless.

Time is infinite, just as the universe is infinite. There is no, beginning or end. If we traveled instantly to the edge of the visible universe, we would look at how very much in the middle you still are. It will look the same as where you started from, more galaxies and stars and just as developed as the structures we see here and now.

Time ends as it starts. It starts at the end, lol Time is not real lol there are just moments. Spacetime is the real question! How spacetime, why spacetime, Humans end! Everything doesn't

i think the universe goes on forever and suns die and sun get reborn it will go on forever and if the universe does colapse it will big bang again start a new and go again untill universe gets it right but i believe there is a creator of universe out there or other beings and where like a test run of some sort or maybe where the food for them in the furture or there slaves and where put on this planets too kick start it building up for aliens and when they see that it is built too there ways come down and take over and we either die or we become there pets like we have cats and dogs as are pets

everything in the end is for nothing nothing even excisted in the end and we will go dark and everything will stay still then again it will start all over again again again again untill the unvierse makes one monster SUN that will burn for ever

and time is man made so really if the big bang sat there for say zillion trillon yrs would be really like 1 sec because no one was counting so time stayed still until we started the clock and there is no one of saying how old everything they can guess by trying too measure light i also have figured away too goo back in time and the furture not physcial mentaly so you can think about your past and bring your self back there thinking about past and you think about furture well thinking about where you will be in 10 yrs i want be a doctor police man when i grow up so your in way decided your furture i have learned how physcial bring myself back and forward

ok soo the universe is 13.9 billions old earth is 4.5 billion so that proofs that it takes aprox 4.5 millions too get where humans are now say when the universe started there is about 50 billion galazy so at first 4.5 billion yrs of the universe i believe there had too be few earth planets out that where like in some way s and a human like creatures or maybe even smarter then human like creatures so say there was earth like this and they envolved 4.5 billion yrs like us today but then you can add another 4.5 yrs billion on that would bring them too 9 billion yrs then add another 4.9 biilion would bring them too 13,9 billion yrs where we are now so can you imagine earth today us humans 4.5 billion yrs and add 9.4 billion yrs we would advanced so much look at how much we took of in 60 yrs with tecnolgy from 1950 too 2016 now add even billion yrs so it would be like 200000000016 something like that we will be like jetson or star wars star trec add 9 more billion of those just and any other species human like would be more avanced way smarted this us and it amazes me earth has survived for 4.5 billons unreal
