Summary: - Newtonian time (absolute time) - Relativistic Time (Einstein) / The observer - Time dilation (Special Relativity Theory) - Muons / cosmic rays (half-life) - Philosophical Theories of Time: A and B theories (John McTaggart) - Presentism / Block Time - "Now" moment and consciousness (awareness of change) - Determinism and classical physics - Free will an illusion? - Is time linear? - Time as perception of duration, change and ordering of events - Time an illusion of consciousness? - Time enabling 3D physical perception of space - Universe whith no change and no perception - Individual time, intricately linked to awareness - Is time more fundamental than space? - Universe where only patterns of states exist and perception of change, hence time (but no 3D space) - Fundamental time (quantum of time): Planck time - Quantum gravity / Quantum universe simulations - Time fundamental (not emergent) - Renate Loll - Time and consciousness - Is there an objective reality out there? - Quantum physics / religion / philosophy / spirituality - Physics and New Age ideas - Consciousness as taboo (within Physics) - Brilliant minds in Quantum Physics: Einstein, Bohr, Schrödinger, Heisenberg, Wigner, Bohm, Wheeler, Feynman.... - Time from the Quantum Physics perspective - Probability distributions - Observation / Measurement / Retrieval of Information / Collapse of the wavefunction - Collapse of Determinism - Fundamental role of observer and "now" moment of time - Determinism and randomness - Arrow of time / Entropy / Causality / Deterministic equations of physics - Second Law of Thermodynamics / Disorder / Time direction - Is causality fundamental in our universe? - Free will and determinism - Consciousness and free will and illusion? - Schrödinger's equation and determinism - Non-local reality in the background (computing outside our space-time) - Flow of information between realities (or dimensions) - From determinism to randomness? Or is there another option? - Interaction between quantum world and consciousness / free will - Double-slit experiments - Information or knowledge fundamental? - Experiments that provide evidence of mind-matter interaction (consciousness or free will can influence the outcome of a probabilistic distribution) - Quantum random number generators - Helmut Schmidt - Free will debates - Purely linear physical causality? - Non-local realms, nested time / nested realities - Tom Campbell - Dogmatic believes within science - Can the present change the past? Retro-causality (backwards causality) - Delayed choice quantum eraser - Nature of time and arrow of time, when causality does not need to be linear nor confined to just our-space time - Reality linked to observation / Collapse of objective reality - Linear timeline in our space-time versus branching time-line in probability space - Retrieval of information (from probability space to our space-time) as key to understanding causality - Past and future databases / branching timeline - Reality as probabilistic + free will - Scientific method and science - Physics / Metaphysics / Philosophy References and other suggested videos / info: Philosophy theories of time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zw6hS_gy9MY Renata Loll videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fv2gBjQ8xIo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACS1_5jyvHE Tom Campbell video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RMOGFaOLSQ Cracking the Nutshell website: http://crackingthenutshell.com

This video was poor excuted, the audio quality sucked, and it was filled with so many illogical fallacies, logical contradictions and false assumptions about physics and reality, that I give it a F-. For falsehood conjecturing. You are the weakest link good bye!

This entire series of videos is fascinating. Late to the party but I promise I'll catch up.

Beautiful, ‘free-thinking’ that this area of our perceived reality is needed to help understand the true nature of reality, presented by a beautiful voice. Isn’t this area of our perceived reality simply amazing? Please keep up the work; as I am looking forward to your future work...

The probability cloud would be affected by interaction with anything not just a human observer. Equipment used to observe a photon would force collapse of wave regardless of whether it was observes with our eyes wouldn't it?
Loved the video... I listen to this sort of stuff at nite to put me asleep but this one kept me awake :) -
To stop time you would have to stop everything in all of the universe, to slow time you would have to functioning and moving significantly faster and to go back in time would mean to change dimensions and that would take 100% of the String Theory.
-
hi ,do you Think the best way to provade your Theories is to do a youtube clip or writing a book ?
-
Man, cant fap to this cos of the silly voice effect. 😒

People like us, who believe in physics, know that the distinction between past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion. ~ALBERT EINSTEIN

Very interesting , lovely voice exploring fascinating notions of "time" - The idea that the present can effect the past made me fall off my chair! i like the idea much ., but , how would the grand father paradox feature
..? -
We are almost a 0 in this reality to ever understand even .000001% of what everything and nothing at the same time is
-
This chick has few good points but her voice is annoying and unpleasant - "Spastic & Stutter".
-
It would be nice to listen to but the dialogue is not clear in critical areas.
-
The universe was made to be observed.
-
Free Will is an illusion and I would be surprised that you believe in it.....but I realize that you don't have a choice!!

Time is mental masterbation, like this video. Time is now. Nothing else. The rest is thought. Unless your looking for a grant... Then keep blabbering

+Cracking The Nutshell One of the philosophy lecturers at the University I'm going too, just published a very interesting philosophy of time paper.
It is Barry Lee's paper 'A Defeating Objection to Dynamic Block Theories of Time' which has been published online by Thought.
http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/tht3.209/abstract
It is an argument against growing block time. That's the idea that the past and present are both equally real, but the future is not. -
Consider time as a measurement of space,,,,,,the time between each mental event is a measurement of space,,,the space between thoughts. In eastern philosophy thoughts are considered as stuff, ie material. Subtle matter as opposed to gross matter. So if thought is stuff then they exist in a kind of space,,,the space between each thought is measured or conceived of as time. Stuff is defined as knowables, as opposed to the knower, as mental events are knowable by a knower they are then categorized as material. If, therefore, mental events are "stuff", then we must also apply the laws of causality and physics to them. So therefore this viewpoint would seem to support determinism.

I love your videos. thank you for all you share. I look forward to hearing more.
