What does it mean to long for home in the most extreme and profound way? As NASA, SpaceX, and other organizations set their sights on flying humans to Mars, they’re also looking to cosmonauts like Mikhail Kornienko, who recently spent almost a year in the International Space Station, to learn about how extended time in space has changed his body and challenged him mentally. ➡ Subscribe: http://bit.ly/NatGeoSubscribe About National Geographic: National Geographic is the world's premium destination for science, exploration, and adventure. If we eventually conquer other planets and possibly star systems and found extraterrestrial threats, all the nations of this god-forsaken planet should unite under one banner as an entire single federation called Elon Musk

Awesome

To all those brave men and women that do this kind of things for the sake of our whole species, thank you.

nothing they didn't go anywhere what a freak show Nat Geo is financed by the Jesuits long ago
-
Maybe we should send schizoids to Mars, since they probably won't miss someone on earth.
-
Can you imagine being the first human being without Earth in sight? Astronauts can at least look out the window and see Earth, they know its there, almost tethered to them. That must have a comforting effect psychologically, that you can always go home, no matter how dangerous the trip its possible.

Just take some VR headsets on board.

3:21 SpaceX fuck yeah! :D

I had to pause every 5 seconds to read everything and not miss a shot lol.

This makes me think. One day we will have the first man/woman on Mars and we will know their name. Another day will know the first person to die on Mars. In a way that can be more exciting. a person to live their lives and final moment on the red planet.

Just in case you find a flat Earth believer I want to warn not to argue with them. Every argument they have is nonsense and you'll just waste your time. Sadly this people choose to remain ignorant and dumb so nothing you do would change that. They don't even believe in the laws of physics so you could imagine how dumb their argument would sound.

Let's save this earth.
-
imagine what we could do if NASA, ESA(European space agency) and roscosmos(Russian space program) teamed up. we'd have a intergalactic bus route and things.
-
I would love to get stoned off my ass in space and just stare at earth
-
Russians, I'm proud of you. Greetings from Georgia! 😊
-
Thank you for using yourself for science as not many are willing to do that.

can we(humans) create gravity without having to resort to acceleration or centripetal force? like generating gravity like they do in star Trek (or other sci-fi movies).
