About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
This panel discussion from NASA headquarters focuses on recent discoveries of water and organics in our solar system, the role our sun plays in water-loss in neighboring planets, and our search for habitable worlds among the stars.

Such a shame about the early failure of Kepler. Ball Aerospace really fucked up on that one. The last 2.5 years of data would have been invaluable. 3.5 years is just barely enough. Not quite enough, really.

And now... another episode of the "Brown, Grunsfeld, and Green Show". Does NASA really have so few employees? It's always Brown, Grunsfeld, Green, and three guest stars, always including one "hottie" for the young males.

Well, that's good news. We will not be running out of water in the long run after all. :)

Não vai demorar para assumir publicamente que não estamos sozinhos no universo, somos muito egoístas em pensar que somos os únicos neste "infinito" Universo!!

Fascinating!

You can see on their faces they know much more than they say

This is the most exciting video I have seen in a long time. These are exciting times to be living. Love it!

Let's first make our world a better place before we spend $billions in far-fetch extra terrestrial craze. Global warming is already threatening to decimate us. If we find another world we would pollute it even worse now that we have an abundance.

Back in the year 1974 when I was 16 I used a circle chart and drew a picture of several sized worlds and worked some calculations on these based on their primary makeup. I had fun doing this but would have really liked Kepler back in the day. All I can say is it's about time NASA got something we all can study and work at now.

All this is interesting and the fact that NASA is working on producing a magnetic field around our human carrying space craft to protect humans form solar winds and other potential particle damage. That to me shows just how important the Earth's magnetic field is to life.

This is the first step to first contact!

NASA is on the verge of discovering alien life forms. NASCAR already found alien creatures in the 1960s and there are thousands of them.

how bout go to the moon.. launch from there? wouldnt have to deal with our atmosphere...
-
I love seeing how excited they are about the future, and not only had they worked hard for it. I hope NASA will give good news as early as, I m running 66 y. JP.

Scientists say that probably life in Earth came from Mars. Now, Mars doesn´t have anymore any sing of life, at least for now, right? I wonder if... maybe... the life form that probably was in Mars before was in danger, and they didn´t have the technology to start a colony in another planet. So,in order to "save their species (and them)", they sent microorganisms to our planet, to continue their life. I don´t know if i´m right, it´s just a theory... for now.

I actually know so little about science, I was never any good at it, but it is SO fascinating and I have no idea why!
