Brilliant couple points to note if not already mentioned:
OCHS safety first i suggest people do not pour kerosene as displayed in this tutorial down the feeder tube full stop.
Reason being this can cause flashback which is something i have been cringing about the whole way through ANY of these videos shown here on youtube.
As the smoke appeared in this video from the gateway valve (open galv T section) it was apparent that it was not as a result of blowback of start up.
It's the remainder of the kerosene plus any residual oil heating up close to flashpoint DANGER !!! Possible point of ignition.

Correction unlike the other video with the coil spring spacer design flame feed tube in this video for those vision impaired he say's the temp reading from the laser unit in degrees Celsius which is incorrect the unit measurement as seen on the display is clearly still in Fahrenheit.
Quick conversion for those to lazy to convert it thank you Google once again for this info.
Quoting the estimated max temp quoted prior video 950F is 510C so yes we are talking some serious heat and with little or no retrofitting of the design.
Apart from that happy burning i would also suggest the unit be raised and given some air spacing from the floor to prevent cracking the cement or causing discolouration to those who value their expensive slabs. -
hey Gerry great videos! just wondering what you are using for the sight glass is that a pyrex dish?
-
use a thicker pot,or even a thick iron cooking pot

I did't quite catch on to your disclaimer. "Don't put kerosene in to the hot furnace" Do you mean a cup of kerosene dumped in to the hot coffee can at the bottom of the propane tank furnace or did you mean don't feed kerosene through the waste oil piping system? Would it be a dangerous idea to feed the furnace with diesel fuel? That is a five gallon bucket of diesel fuel piped through your shown waste oil fuel delivery plumbing?

I feel like building this and adapting it to heat my pool...... it seems like a great idea

question, would shorting oil tube up inside air pipe give advantage of atomizeing oil better to proved better burn?
-
It sounds like Norman has a powered oil pump. Is that correct? If you want to use a pump, you can install an oil orifice, and save quite a bit on how much oil you burn. If you do however, you will need a plate for the flame to hit on.

How is it with the smell ? Do the for example neighbours complain about a burned oil smell or something ?

One great suggestion. You should add heat sinks on the sides. This will take the excess heat that normally goes up the chute outside. It will make and keep more heat indoors. You can put you heat sinks either horizontal or vertical. I would go with the first as each plate will keep heat rising to the next plate above it and so on. For a blower motor use a 12 volt one from a car. You can use a 'dimmer' switch to control how fast you want the air intake to be. I would power the blower motor on deep cycle battery. All you need is either is a solar panel or deep cycle charger to charge the battery.

The tool tray is genius. Good work on the stoves also.

That´s good. Which is the consumption of oil per month? I live in Patagonia. We need this incredible stove

Make your burn pot out of something 1/2 inch thick that should be the best fire pot so it doesn't burn through remember forced air into a fire is like a blast furnace they can melt steel.

are those pyrex/high temp glass cookwares you're using for optics?
-
That is awesome and very innovative. Wish I could make one for my small show . All I use now is an electric Eden pure.

toxics very dangerous
