In the long distant past, Terminator Armour was stated to have anti grav generators (basically small versions of those on land speeders) to offset the huge weight. It was stated in this lore than a Space Marine in Terminator Armour was as agile as a Space Marine wearing no armour at all. I suspect this has been retconned since but it's not completely out of place with the lore.
That said, there is something cool about the slow hulking combat monster aesthetic so I can get behind them being slow.
Also I suspect Terminator Armour weighs a hell of a lot more than 900lbs. Space Marines are ridiculously strong, for example lifting something the weight of a car overhead would be a trivial task for them, so 900lbs is not as heavier to them as it sounds. -
People are here arguing about lore and shit and all I can think of is how boring and bland the gameplay looks
-
Are Storm Bolters so pinpoint accurate lore wise? I imagined them being like the fireballs of the imps in DooM, with a slight travel time.
-
terminators used to sprint in the 40k TB old rules and dont remmember anything in my 40k days about them not being able to sprint
-
Do we get to play as GOD EMPEROR TRUMP??!!
-
This reminds me of aliens a bit
-
Oh no! My armor is broken. Oh wait, I can repair it anytime I want by pressing one button... WHAT A FUCKING GARBAGE. Also weapons sounds are lame, same as armor sounds.
-
actually terminators can sprint but limited so its still part of the lore, and dont forget they are fucking deathwings
-
I dislike like Genestealer cultist are talking 30 boltrounds to head and still manage to live.

If you like this game you should check out Streum On's first game E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy. It's a really fun and really odd game (and the translation/localization is kind of bad). It's very interesting RPG shooter with some unique stats and a lot of player choice.

Cant help but think this would be super entertaining in VR
-
Looks great but I fear it will play like Painkiller, i.e. no fun whatsoever.

Terminators can run, they're capable of lumbering in a straight line but the momentum of the suit prevents them from doing much other than swinging a melee weapon. In the SH boardgame Terminators move at a set speed but in tabletop 40k standard TDA is capable of run moves and charges just fine.
With regards to Angelos in DOW3 it's not his armour which allows him to leap, it's the relic hammer he wields that does. At least Relic justified that anomaly with another anomaly rather than glossing over it, but like you, I'm not sure if I'm down with it 100%. -
Well I want this in my life, Terminator armor crushing swarms of Tyranids? Count me in
-
Say what you will about Firewarrior the ps2 game. but it did bolters right. Also that satisfying beep when reloading a rail rifle.
-
I love how they talk like pubescent teens rather than massive genetically engineered super soldiers. "we are the angels of death" said like "would you like a nice cup of tea?"

OMG Voicework so repetitive and irritating indeed... the graphics look good though with that inferno... but teammate AI looks weird... they just stand around and take rocket hits face on? Terminators armor are thick yes but never take cover? Also when they are down, rather than saying they are out/retreating, they just say "xxx down"... Seems little to no cool cutscene... Sad that it seems to have no cool melee death animations... gameplay also sort of... linear and boring (but too early to say for now :P)? Maybe I was bias... after having experienced the very well made Warhammer 40k Space Marine :P
