Wallace Thornhill joins us on this night, and we discuss many facets of the Electric Universe Theory. Why it should be preferred over the current mainstream model, the proof for it, dismissing the Big Bang, Black Holes, Dark Matter, and much more. We talk of galaxies and stars, and what happened to Mars and Earth in the distant path. We talk of Velikovsky and Peratt. It is a fascinating journey. Wallace Thornhill graduated in Physics at Melbourne University in 1964 and began postgraduate studies with Prof. Victor Hopper's upper atmosphere research group. Before entering university, he had been inspired by Immanuel Velikovsky through his controversial best-selling book, Worlds in Collision. Wal experienced first-hand the indifference and sometimes hostility toward a radical challenge to mainstream science. He realized there is no career for a heretic in academia. Wal worked for 11 years with IBM Australia. The later years were spent in the prestigious IBM Systems Development Institute in Canberra, working on the first computer graphics system in Australia. He was the technical support for the computing facilities in the Research Schools at the Australian National University, which gave him excellent access to libraries and scientists there. Wal was initially heavily influenced by the then revolutionary ideas of Immanuel Velikovsky of Princeton. Velikovsky proposed that mankind had been devastated in the past by cosmological events . Wal took these ideas and with his deep knowledge of astronomy and, plasma physics began his own questioning of scientific dogma. Paramount was the place of electro magnetism, as distinct from gravity, in the formation of the universe . This slowly but surely led to his and other colleagues (such as David Talbot, Donald Scott, and Anthony Peratt) questioning such ingrained theories as the big bang, black holes and Einstein's theory of relativity. This group in particular contend that many scientific "proofs "are theory laden or mathematically concocted. An insistence on empirical data from observations and experiments gives their work true integrity. Mr. Thornhill says that in the creation myth of the religions that "everything was created out of nothing". But God is not nothing.

Another classic, modern dogma shattering interview with Wal. Really saddened they don't get the funding they deserve, but the "Safire Project phase 2" could and should change all that!

I wonder how this guy would try to explain the observation of gravitational lensing. He really is negating a lot of evidence that scientists have observed for close to a century just because they don't fit into his interpretation of how the universe works.

Smart guy, good stuff, love EU ! This guy is the real deal, very genuine,down to Earth (pardon the pun) and wears his knowledge lightly. You gotta like that. Plus I emailed his website a couple questions and received a prompt reply from no less than Wal himself. That impressed me! Since I have watched every video, waiting for that book . EU is a breath of fresh air. Can't get enough of it! This is an awesome interview thank you for posting this I like this show, is this a podcast ? or a radio show? Please have the guys from Cosmos in collision on or 1 of them, it is in conjunction with EU, on purple dawn of creation, I like your interviews.

The reason that Einstein's relativity theories were adopted was to hide the "real" science that was based on Tesla physics. The Elite always hides advanced science and diverts the sheeple from "real" science to maintain control. The UFOs, for example, are based on Tesla science....and kept hidden from the sheeple.

i watched 20 to 30 hours of electric universe material, including primer fields and am left fascinated but with a big question
how do these specific bowlshaped magnetic fields form??i found no explanation. -

I've seen every Thunderbolts video many times over, heard the RIR interviews with Wal and Dave, but for me this it's the single best piece for covering the breath of the EU theory and arguments against the standard model all in one place. Good job.

I love your show. It's nice to listen to a science program with an informed host who poses intelligent questions and makes open-minded arguments. But that dorky opening announcement had my mouse hovering over the Stop button. Fortunately Wal Thornhill is worth suffering the agony and he did not disappoint.

The "Electric Universe" (EU) is an umbrella term that covers various pseudo-scientific cosmological ideas built around the claim that the formation and existence of various features of the universe can be better explained by electromagnetism than by gravity. The exact claims are diverse and vary from crank to crank author to author. A common motif is the insistence that all science should be done in a laboratory — an attempt to throw away gravity from the very beginning, because one can't put a solar system or a galaxy in a laboratory. Most Electric Universe proponents claim some kind of relation to the "plasma cosmology" of the Nobel Prize laureate Hannes Alfvén. Too bad his model was rendered obsolete by the missing observations of the radio emission predicted by his cosmology.[2]

Gravity is of course is happening. We are stuck to the earth. The Electric Universe explains most of the workings of the universe. Gravity whatever the word is still exists. So the real problem is surely explaining what ' Gravity' is. A dimension we don't know perhaps?
