Vlog 11 - Searching For Spirituality in North Carolina - #11 is going to be in parts and is about talking to people of different Religions in North Carolina. Part 1 focuses on the Mormon Religion (The Church of Latter Day Saints) Mormons (/ˈmɔːrmənz/) are a religious and cultural group related to Mormonism, the principal branch of the Latter Day Saint movement of Restorationist Christianity, which began with Joseph Smith in upstate New York during the 1820s. After Smith's death in 1844, the Mormons followed Brigham Young to what would become the Utah Territory. Today, most Mormons are understood to be members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). Some Mormons are also either independent or non-practicing. The center of Mormon cultural influence is in Utah, and North America has more Mormons than any other continent, though the majority of Mormons live outside the United States. Mormons self-identify as Christian, although some non-Mormons consider Mormons non-Christian and some of their beliefs differ from mainstream Christianity. Mormons believe in the Bible, as well as other books of scripture, such as the Book of Mormon. They have a unique view of cosmology, and believe that all people are spirit-children of God. Mormons believe that returning to God requires following the example of Jesus Christ, and accepting his atonement through ordinances such as baptism. They believe that Christ's church was restored through Joseph Smith and is guided by living prophets and apostles. Central to Mormon faith is the belief that God speaks to his children and answers their prayers. Smith was mysodginus racist bigot. The mormons only allowed black people to have any say in church until the 70s And basically they had no chose it law everyone equal.Smith believed black people were degree above animals and no soul.slavery not a problem all part of his miraculous experience.
the Book of Mormon more or less free mason twaddle and Smith was one.plus usual twaddle the pologamy keep women down a woman's career takes second place to baking apple pie properly. They were not against very young girls getting married take that as you will.If you push them they will tell you book Mormon more important than any other beliefs..
These young people are deluded.I could say more but not enough hours in the day to waste on josph Smith -
A very good video. I visited one of their churches in central Florida. Very nice people but i felt a little confused about their beliefs. I think its because their missionaries are young and awkward with older people. Still, i respect any young people serving in the missions field.

I forgot to ask if you caught up with history yet https://youtu.be/0DEAzA6TNR0
Sorry about that, it explains the previous video. -
If more people kept an open mind like you, there would be less nay sayers and more questions being asked. Everyone seeks information past the fascination point, yet when they come close or face to face with unknown territory, they fall into cognitive dissonance. https://youtu.be/7pGrpaZeebM
Take care... -
