I discuss my 2 deep cycle batteries and methods of wiring them in parallel and series, i discuss the gauge wires to use and the difference between 12v DC and 115 or 120V AC and how to install a fuse panel and inverter in your camper van or RV or motor home. This video will teach you how to setup the electrical system on your campervan and how to wire and charge your batteries with either a voltage sensing relay, solar panels, shore power or a generator. Thank You! This helped a lot.
-
where can I get sure power
-
Bad idea installing the batteries inside, no pan for leaks, no vent to remove the toxic fumes from the batteries venting, a bit on the dagerous side.
-
This is about the clearest explanation of this stuff that I've seen anywhere. Glad I subscribed. Keep up the good work!
-
good to learn for my camper. thanks
-
Are those lead acid batteries
-
You did a nice job on your camper and your explanation of how to wire 12 volt. FYI the word “Aught” as in 2/0 or 2“Aught”wire, the g is silent and is pronounced ot, like in the word bought, I bought 2 aught wire. Its bought without the B. I'm looking forward to seeing moor of your videos. Thanks for taking the time to post them.

Hey Friend-
I've got a couple questions. I'm starting a build with a van and am wondering about the batteries. We're just trying it out and thinking about doing the electric easy at first and getting more complicated if we like it later.
So here's my questions.
A. Do you think you need two batteries or would maybe one do? and
B. I see you've got your batteries inside the van. Are you getting any fumes? (People keep telling me to mount mine outside maybe underneath because of fumes.)
Thanks a lot brother.

Top bloke! I spent hours till I finally found your video, explaining exactly what I wanted to know! I bought a camper with solar panels, I still don't know why it's not working properly, but now I think I'll just rip everything out and built it new.
-
Thanks so much, brother. Great stuff and, like you said, there isn't enough out there on this. Your parts links are a fantastic bonus- Much appreciated. May you have safe travels and many exciting adventures.

Hi Cory! I like your videos and would like to talk to you if possible to ask you about my system . I haven't got it installed yet been gathering the components. Is it possible to talk to you somehow?
-
Cory, thank you for a concise, informative video.
-
cool Video (: i have a question? how long (hours or days) does the battery go full use without charging the batteries? say example 2 batteries and fridge all day or 2 days
-
Cory, any word at all on venting your batteries?
-
Cory - You da man!! Like you said, all the electrical systems I see in the camper conversions are VERY confusing. Your video is the first time I've thot I could come to understand how to set up an electrical system for my van. Thank you, thank you, thank. Like Jason said, you've got great teaching skills. I'm going to be buying a van to travel all over the Western USA with my dirt bike, and the electrical system was the only part that was holding me back in my planning process. It's like you opened up a window for me. Thank you so much for sharing all the info in the video.

6 seconds in and I already like you... sub'd
I'm working on my van now (in between my desk job) and I hope to get on the road by mid-2017!
