US Space & Rocket Center - Huntsville, AL

Today we traveled to Huntsville, Alabama to visit the US Space and Rocket Center and to catch up with Jeannie’s younger brother Richard! The US Space and Rocket Center was located right next to campground and was within walking distance. We spent all day there Saturday, and saw all the exhibits and took a great bus tour of the entire facility. The facility has a great past list of accomplishment for NASA which continue today. Saturday night we met Jeannie’s brother Richard for dinner and had a great time catching up on his work, and his efforts with his wife to build a new home in the area. We followed that up on Sunday morning with a quick game of Frisbee Golf which was a first for Richard. He did quite well and improved with each hole he played!
