Unreal Engine 4 Space Shooter Tutorial Series: In this series we will be setting up a small game from scratch via the Blueprint system inside of Unreal Engine 4. Copy and paste txt at 4.13 doesnt work and has conflicts. Its mostly empty. That's why i do NOT prefer any speeding up workflow...you should make a full videos for all you are doing. Now, the txt its pretty much useless.

Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial. I am learning BP at present. One thing that does bothers me is that i am not clear about BP's logic. It makes me depressed.

+Strigifo, hi. First of all, great tutorial so far! I´m learning to mucho thanks to you.
Think I can help with the bug! You see, I´m an artist, not a programer... so I´m going on this step by step. And this error at the end (same as yours), don´t let me go to sleep! So, I mess around with some values, and I discover that if the spawn offset was 10, only 1 ship appears and then the grey "deleted ships" start to appears in the World Outliner. But if I set it to, for example, 1000, 4 or 5 appears until get those grey ships. So, I figured out, that the problem was in the collisions...
So, in the bluePrints of the enemies ships, I uncheck the "generate overlap events", and set "collision Presets to "Trigger" (I guess that this is needed for destroy them)
And the error has gone!
Hope this helps, I´m not sure if this is the best solution... just try to help.

Hi Strigifo, loving the series so far. I've encountered a problem twice after running through the tutorials though. It seems after using your event graph enemies only spawn if the Gate following Event Tick is left with Start Closed unchecked. Player and enemies aren't spawning. Any idea what's up?

Why is your Actor array highlighted purple, when i made my variable i set it to actor and clicked array but it shows blue, it says its an object and i think im suppose to have a class, how would i go about this?

When I play the game the camera that is in the scene is movable. How do I fix it?

Hello Strigifo! First of all, thank you a lot for doing this tutorial! Well, I am having a problem when I paste the blueprint text and compile it. I get a GET and LENGTH error, and when I try to add the two elements of the actor array, it´s not showing the BPPlayer as an option. Can you help me with that?

It seems like the set up of the first video works better - although it must be more difficult to make. Going back to follow seems to not work as well, certain things are left out, for example I cannot edit the default value of an actor array and no idea why because in the video it is already done. Great videos either way!
