Great Game guys. Surprised at the turn out. One thing I would suggest, Bjorn was making shots with his Helfrost Cannon, yet I saw no strength tests being made. To that I would question, in a model with high enough strength (talking 6+), would it override Helfrost, or would it take a strength test with two dice?

well done guys i really enjoyed the batte report.
-
did you guys forget Hammer of wrath on the thunderwolf cav against genestealer combat? might have prevented a rending - dead wolf.

Seriously guys, thank you so much for fielding Arjac Shield-brothers, they are such an undervalued unit in space wolves, everyone is playing the same clone list of droppod spam sprinkled with thunderwolves. Thank you for playing space wolves the macho way! :D

tyranids are a hard faction to play. especially in any kind of take and hold scenario as they're so squishy.
flooding the board with grunts and using them as a speed bump is good. it can tie up big guns and even block charges if you do it right.
flying hive tyrants with dual brain Leech devourers are pricey but very very good.
I'd suggest taking 2
raveners can be excellent along with hormagaunts as they move fast and with rending claws they can threaten anything easily.
I'm not amazing by any standards but shout me if you want any more pointers.
I've given up on nids for now as I can't hold up in my competitive meta. -
hey guys im sure the devourersshould have been twin linked on the flyrant 18:40

don't forget that the carnifex had to take a strength test do to the helfrost rule

Bjorn has BS6. Hits on 2's, re-roll miss on a 6. It can makes his plasma cannon a solid option if you want the extra range or AP2 blast, since he can re-roll if it gets hot.
