Oh the gum thing I experienced when I was a baby. I ate a whole package of wrigley's mint gum. Guess what was in the diaper at night? Oh yeah mint gummy shit!

Here's a good myth: Evolution.
And I don't mean simple variation. I mean different kinds of organisms coming from other kinds of organisms. Ape to man, goo to you, etc. (many different names for it).
Want evidence? Sure.
Evolution assumes that sedimentary rock layers were laid down over millions of years and represent the evolution (change) of fossils in lower layers into fossils of above layers). Makes sense, right? Problem. If this were true, then there would be very few out of place fossils. I give an example.
Evolution claims dinosaurs lived millions of years before humans because dinosaur fossils are found in lower layers than humans (by the way, very few human fossils are found because they generally are in the highest layer and most didn't fossilize.)
The problem is that there is plenty of evidence to show that humans did coexist with dinosaurs. We find dinosaur and human footprints together. We find plenty of myths and legends from cultures around the world that told of dinosaurs (or dragons before the term "dinosaur was invented in the 1850's) before scientists first found their skeletons. There are even older books like dictionaries that list dragons as "now rare". I'd even say we still have some. Loch Ness monster in Scotland, Momblio Nimbi (I spelled that so wrong) in The Congo, Thunder bird in North America, etc. There's also things like DNA and soft unfossilized tissue being found in dinosaur bones, proving that they can't possibly be millions of years old.
There are so many other things like human artifacts found in supposedly millions of year old coal seams, fossils found in higher layers than fossils that they supposedly evolved into, etc.
Bottom line- those rock layers do not represent vast amounts of time. Basically meaning that the entire theory of things evolving into other things has no foundation. Bill Nye has even stated that if any fossils were found out of sequence in the fossils record, it would completely refute Evolution.
Of course there actually can be some reordering, but very little. What we find in reality is hundreds of out of place fossils and artifacts scattered all around the world.
I can give plenty of other evidences against Evolution, but this is actually enough. Out of place fossils alone discredit the theory. Evolution is a myth. -
i knew i gum thing was false, i've been swallowing gum since i was 6 -_-

They perpetuated a myth in a "myth debunked" video.
What science says is that we only use 10% of our brains POTENTIAL. The whole brain activates, and some portions are more dominant given the task we are doing, but we do not just turn on 10% at a time. -
A 'science' myth that is widely believed, but is false?
Hmm, Evolution, the Big Bang, Aliens on other planets... the myth that there is no God...
I could go on and on. The fact is that science is riddled with dogma by secualrists leftists that are angry at God and want to eliminate every part of him from known factual history. -
What's up with the numbers? 1,2,3,2,1?

The moon's gravity isn't actually directly responsible for the tide. It's not literally dragging it around. The gravity affects the Earth, shaking it slightly, and the water/oceans acts as it would in a glass if swirled in a circle. I love science.

By 'Ten percent of our brain power' I think it means our brains are not living up to our full potential, and NOT 'Oh! If I just chop out 90% if my brain, I'll be completely fine! Hardy hardy har!'

I don't like you...

If morgan freeeman says it then it is true

Shouldn't the top 5 be counted 12345 or even 54321? Why do 12321 source fed? Why you tryna confuse our brain spaces?

When I went to NYC once, a man pointed out to me that the shape of the Empire State building is like a layered cake (wider at the bottom and skinnier at the top), so if you did throw a penny, it wouldn't make it to the ground, and then you would get arrested for throwing a penny off of the Empire State building.
-
the myth saying you only use 10% of are brain is false we use all are brain but not to its full potential we only use 10% of are brains potential
-
It's more like 75% of your brain because you have different sections of your brain and some of them are always in use. So yeah defiantly not 10% bit also not 100% either. :)

That we have five senses. grumble

I already hate the Lucy movie and everybody that made it because it's only going to continue to perpetrate that stupid ass 10% of the brain myth even more. Every time a commercial comes on for it I yell at the screen.

if you spit off the empire state building, it actually won't even hit the ground. it'll get pushed onto the side of the building because of the way the wind flows around large objects. I can't remember where i learned this but i'm pretty positive it was from a reliable source
