Oh, just one question, i posed one of the materialist problems to a materialist and that was the "how do you get the fundamental particles" and he said that the particles are part of a field, how do i respond to that? Do i simply ask "well where did the field come from?"

Hey, Tom. For a variety of reasons, a lot of people have trouble even identifying their authentic selves, what they really feel, who they really are. When you've been playing a role for so long in order to meet parental and/or cultural expectations, what's the best way to begin experiencing your authentic self? I often have a hard time discerning which thoughts and feelings are authentically mine and which are a result of conditioning. Thanks.

TM is reportedly very helpful for PTSD. Surprised Tom didn't bring that up for the vets.

I agree with Tom for the most part but have a different nature of the LCS as timeless without a beginning or end. Otherwise there is infinite regression like where did the LCS come from or what existed before the LCS? If the LCS is fundamentally timeless this questions are irrelevant.

Hello Tom, my question is about "making it about other" part. I have been applying the MBT for a while now and its working perfectly and my life has improve a lot, and i just want to say thanks for that I really appreciate your work. I still have a problem when making it about other I get to a point were I get anxiety or I feel like I am giving away too much so I want to overcome this but I don't know if this is just a stage that will pass overtime as I continue giving or Its part off my fear/ego or maybe its a good thing to have limits especially when it comes to giving, please explain to me how to go about this.

its a shame with the last part though. can not hear much there. there are microphones that could be bout for about 100 dollars that pick up only whats in front of them, though :)

Hi Tom, when I heard you talking about picking attributes for your "character" here, the Myth about Er came to mind. In it there's spoken about this, how new entities don't know how to choose and choose rather by chance, while experienced entities choose better. But it also talks about how you are stuck with the choice you made before coming in. If you chose to be a crude prince, this is what you have to be. Is there something within the ruleset that dictates this, I guess, from a "personality" point of view? Or is free will still prevalent?
