I have a g-tube. The pain of recovery that lasted days was literally agony. I couldn't believe that the pain level was almost on par with that of my spinal surgery, considering the simplicity of it compared to major thoracic surgery. Now that I've had it for a handful of years it's literally been a lifesaver, and is wonderful, but that initial first few days was truly horrendous, something I did not expect at all

Wow so helpful as my daughter is waiting for this surgery I'm finding ng tube a bit of a pain now and daughter is keen to remove all the time but then is so upset when it's replaced! Hopefully this will be the answer and it will be nice to get the tube removed from her face so people don't stare all the time as I find it very frustrating and upsetting

I went through this when I was 2 I had it in for 18 years now I may be having surgery if I decide to get it closed up
