You speaking on remakes/sequels of bad movies that try too hard to emulate the original's charm got me thinking that Richard O'Brien took that went in the exact opposite direction for Shocky... And I fucking adore him for it -

Loving the new series man awesome stuff. Plus I love the movie the Stuff great shout out to that film. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes always a fun one, Poultrygeist, Night of the Lepus, Repo Genetic Opera, They Live, Goulies, Masters of the Universe, Return of the Living Dead, Dead Alive. So many to name but hope it helps lol.
Or on the exploitation side the new American Guinea Pig movie is out and is generating some positive feedback as well. If you are still doing some of the more "disturbing" style of film. -
