I just came back here because every time I see this video it makes me feel a bit better, then I read the comments below.
Lenny27G, you've made a brilliant video that I and my now 8 year old son continue to enjoy and everyone we've shown it too has enjoyed it also (obviously I'm choosy who I show it too). In 5 years time I'm sure there will be lots more bigger stars known about, but will there be a video that just grabs you like this one does, that really illustrates the relative sizes of our own solar system before showing us other stars that just blow us away, that just makes one go "WOW!"?
Well, I'm sure some will try (and I'm only talking about the scientifically accurate ones here) and everyone will have their own preferences but I'll continue to like this one. And one simple reason is because the selection of Vega gives a good contrast to our sun and then it just turns into a dot against VV Cephi A. There's no need for a larger final sun because it would just make it more likely that Vega disappears and we don't notice its just a dot (unless of course we're using a plasma tv to watch it but most people are still using laptops, desktops and tablets). Also if you tried to update everytime a new largest star was discovered you'd be waving bye bye to having a life.
I hope that you're otherwise well as you haven't uploaded anything since 5 years ago, but please never doubt that the work you did on the Universe in 3d videos is appreciated. -
oops sorry
