The Universe in 3D: Planet & Star Size Comparison [1080p]
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
This video compares the sizes of different planets and stars. All planets and stars are scaled correctly. Contains all of the planets in our solar system (including Pluto), our sun, Vega (a star), and VV Cephi A (an enormous star). Order of Planets and Stars: Pluto Mercury Mars Venus Earth Neptune Uranus Saturn Jupiter The Sun Vega VV Cephi A This video was created entirely by me with blender V2.49. Creation Time: 11 Hours Render Time: 13 Hours This is a remake of an old video that I uploaded. This new video is in 1080p, has improved camera angles, and a black background (instead of blue, because obviously blue is not the color of empty space...).

But this is not original.
Why black?
Trusting black means bad, die.
Do you REALLY WANT to die?! -
It's not like the earth
-
Its really not...

Vega?

@HaloTrackFounderx751 Vega's A Star

Nice job, i like the way you've compared them here (i.e with the big jump in size). It's different to all the other "comparison" videos. You've picked that irritating music though!

Vega and then VV Cephei A?

@mati123ish Furthermore, there is evidence that there were stars that were hundreds of times larger than VY Canis Majoris, these stars were formed in the early universe, where large amounts of intergalactic hydrogen was present. These stars left no Black Hole or Neutron Star remnant. Also, these stars' supernovae my have been vital in the structure of the universe as we know it today. PS: "BIllions Millions" ISN'T A NUMBER!!!!!
-
@mati123ish 1.It is not the largest star in the world caus its not on earth and its only the largest KNOWN star we cant prove its the largest star in the universe caus we have only found stars in our galaxy their is possibly a star out their thats 8x bigger then VY cannis mojoris in some other galaxy.
-
@mati123ish VY Canis Majoris is only a few thousand times the size of the sun and when it gravitationally collapses, it will for a Black Hole. In the early universe, there was a giant abundance of hydrogen and there were stars (predicted by astrophysicists) that were probably thousand of times larger than VY Canis Majoris is is only the largest because it is in our galaxy, and therefore MEASURABLE. Also VY Canis Majoris can't be the "LARGEST STAR IN THE WORLD!!" because it is LARGER THAN EARTH.
