The Sun: Crash Course Astronomy #10
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
Phil takes us for a closer (eye safe!) look at the two-octillion ton star that rules our solar system. We look at the sun's core, plasma, magnetic fields, sunspots, solar flares, coronal mass ejections, and what all of that means for our planet. Using the term "million years" a million times. If you want to use facts, please use facts.
-
it should be "mc" not "MC"!!!!

I like this guy

Phil: " The sun is the two octillion ton gorilla in the room, we need to respect that"
Me:"OMG HE PREDICTED HARAMBE!!!!!" -
im trying to understand but im not
-
what's his name ^^ ?
-
I wish I had a euro for every time you say ''million''.
-
More brainwashing for the masses to believe.
-
If you have an anime profile pic you're a loser.
-
what episode does he talk about plasma?
-
2 octillion tons, that made me lol
-
dude you're so tiring
-
It needs to be said...
PRAAIIISSE THE SUN!!!!!!! -
Can someone suggest me books for sun ?
-
this is so good.
-
Harambe lives on in the Sun
-
Love the sun animation at the beginning
-
The Sun Is A Crystal
-
Harembe reference at the end.

Thing is though, how is our G class sun so stable and benign for life compared to other examples?
Others have energy output problems, either too quiescent, or too active, hot jupiters ejecting inner planets, x-ray flares, you name it. Why is Sol...so special to life?
