In 1982, there were 13,000 dedicated arcade locations across North America, generating $3.2 billion dollars. By 1985, revenue had fallen 97%. Atari declared bankruptcy. Arcades closed. This is the story of arcade video games, and their second life in basements and garages all across the country.

So many memories... and even still while watching - a game will popup that I've never seen. And whatdya know!? I want to play 'em just as much as I used to when I see a brand-new game.

Ah...the fun had at great arcades in the 80s! I always wanted Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Defender, Joust, Dig Dug, Burger Time and Star Trek: Strategic Combat Operations Simulator (sitdown model), and those BattleTech pods that had cabinets that looked like WW2 fighters and bombers!
