I challenge everyone who's watching this video to study on his own Buddhist Cosmology and compare his findings with this guy's teachings. He just fused Modern Cosmology with Buddhism.

Is this Science????????? According to the Buddhist scriptures, “ Buddha teaches about an underworld, the earth, the mid region of devas inhabiting world of passion and desires, the higher region of devas inhabiting the world of forms and perception and the highest region of abstract world known as Brahma Lokas inhabiting great beings.
Buddha teaches, the earth as the centre of universe, resting on the Mount Meru(Mahameru paruwathaya), surrounded by seven con-centric rings of mountains and seven oceans, with the hells of asuras below and the world of devas above. Buddha also teaches that the whole cosmos is represented in the inner world a human beings.
Buddha claims that he has visited his dead mother Mahamaya ( Mayadevi) at Thauthisa develowa, where he has preached his mother and devas for 30 days without food or drinks or sleep and the davas have made a golden ladder for Buddha to come down to earth. Please stop comparing 2500 years old iron aged magic, illusions, and mythologies of Buddhism and Hinduism with modern day biology and physics. It’s absolutely a crime against humanity and great a robbery. -

not only the world the whole universe and beyond. Basically everything.last place to destroy is where Buddha enlightened and the first place to create is the same place.

@james humans used to live 120 000 years and its not a constant. its decreases and then increases gradually.the life span of todays human being is about 60 years.so after reducing it to 12 years then increases up to 80 000 years like that then the the worlds end.(i mean life span) as i remember .

our earth is called badha bhumi in budhism , or beautifull earth.

Buddha said many things about universe ,and among all he knew that smallest state in matter is a form of energy.

Buddha talked about a mythological universes. He only new about India nothing Beyond that.

I am a Buddhist. But Buddha did not get everything right. But what matters to me most is Buddhas preachings on human condition. Satpattana. I use that all the time to remind myself who I am.

I do consider myself Buddhist, by the way, and I generally choose to accept the central message of the teachings while discarding many details as "provisional". I am curious about what you make of those details yourself, though.

Not everything in the teachings line up so perfectly with modern science. What do you make of the suttas that mention humans existing before animals at the beginning of time? Or that humans used to live 80,000 years, with their lifespans shrinking as the age degenerates? What about Mount Sumeru and the four continents surrounding it (with different human lifespans on each one)?
