Hi there, I was given a telescope for my birthday, it's an Argos £50 I hear you laughing, well it's ok for what it is, think it has a 50mm objective lens, it has 3 lenses, a kind of weak one, a stronger one and a Barlow one, the weak one is good for seeing the moon, the stronger one is pretty good for seeing Saturn and it's rings, but the image is only about the size of a pinhead or matchead, very small, If I try the barlow one I cant see anything, well a very big faint image that wont focus, the barlow one seems useless to me....if I wanted a telescope that would give me a reasonable image of the planets with some detail what would you recommend..Fred Nr Chelmsford.

If only this barlow had a T2 thread, it would be a no-brainer. Mind you - it's very good and cleverly thought out on its own, but I would be very happy with a T2 thread on it (I could combine the lens element of this with my existing barlow tube, but that doesn't have the two-screw feature which would be nice to have as well).
The point being: I think that the lens element on this barlow is a lot better than my low-cost Celestron barlow/T-adapter combo and it also includes a filter thread (which is a VERY nice feature), but it would be nice to be able to put a T-ring on it directly. -
do you have a link to where I could order this from the USA?
