The Great Physics Bake Off

Ossett Academy presented The Great Physics Bake Off on Tuesday 25th November. The turn out was bigger and better than expected with over 30 cakes including solar system, fusion, Issac Newton and even Einstein. A crowd of students and several staff turned up to admire, taste and judge the Science and Food Tech fusion. The idea behind the bake off was to dismiss some of the outdated, negative stereotypes associated with Physics and encourage a younger generation of pupils into the field. The Bake off also proved Physics is for everybody with a fantastic turn out of girls and boys.
