8. It's nice to hear this explanation of the HR diagram a few times. My professor is awesome, but this is somewhat of a confusing topic in astronomy. 
9. I had always wanted to study astronomy, so imagine my disappointment when I found that most things we cover in my astronomy class are nearly impossible for me to understand. I can read the book and go over my notes all the live long day, but it doesn't stick. This video was much more helpful than anything else I've tried. Thank you SO much!

15. @Aljon1000 at any given point in a star's life it occupies a point on the diagram according to it's temperature and luminosity. the graphs are made of a large sample of stars in a cluster.

18. @prettyboybn Yes, exactly! x-axis is not just a funny way of representing temperature and colour. It's just the normal visible E-M spectrum sequence. Short to long frequency.
