MASSIVE WOW!!!!
-
albert was always my favourite BOC vocalist prefer this version so much more than the finished columbia release.the vocals on this contain so much more emotion and you can understand what he's singing unlike the over produced official release
-
Amazing find! Can't believe this "exists". Thank you.
-
A real Masterpiece , BOC were at there best when Al was a perm member, a major force behind the Blue oyster cults music , I saw the Cult brothers at a club in Torrington CT but Albert wasn't there just his brother Joe, no regrets though, Joe approached me because he liked the classic BOC tee shirt I wore, I ended up buying him a Rum & Coke and we sat and talked music for at least 30 minutes, great guy great band

Del Rio song even better with Albert singing! Ascention!
-
Awesome 'Possum! I had heard this existed, but never thought I'd hear it. Thanks for letting us listen!
-
This rules! I wish this could be an official release, maybe in a box set with the boc version! Throw in rare edits, etc!
-
This is great even better than the official album Thanks for posting
-
Where in the hell did you find this?
-
big win by gator's del Rio tonight! last time tucky beat us was like 86
-
best version of astronomy
-
somebody on you tube had a live recording version of some of these songs with some cameos , like joan jett or someone , and it disappeared wish I could see this demo w Albert singing live again
-
the empress lay sleeping...
-
thank you for this.
Imaginos was ment as a final ending of a collectrion of songs from the other albums.
The songs order in the final album is also incorrect.
Anyway nice to be able to hear this at original version -
This is bloody awesome. Albert and Sandy had great vision.I wish they had left this alone. RIP Sandy.
-
The singing's not that bad, production sounds ok(especially for a demo).I like it Got BOC version, one of few albums I've bought without hearing any of the tracks first. Was not disappointed!
-
my god this album is awesome
-
I have the commercially released version and know the story of this album and how they wanted Eric and Buck's involvement... to make it a BOC album, but I had no idea this existed! Thank you Giovani!!!
-
The people here saying that this is better than the BOC final version must have corncobs in their ears. Can you not hear the out of tune vocals and amateurish production quality? Their is really no comparison. Get the other one; it really surprised me. It's really good.

My wife and I saw the Brains at Seneca Lake towards the end of the Brains existance. They played The Siege And Investiture Of Baron Von Frankenstein's Castle At Wisteria and it might have been the heaviest of all metal songs I've ever heard. No disrespect to bands like Pantera, Motorhead, and Judas Priest! This three piece, a wife and husband, a good fried, and no Billy Hilfiger (RIP, fucking really nice guy) and Peter Bohevesky, were mind numbingly great, but they tore it apart and then played as trio, holy f'ing shit, I've never head anything so heavy as that song, total respect!
I'm so pissed I didn't record it, I might have been tripping a bit, but not enough to to influence my opinion of the song, just damn fine metal! Agreed with the poster of this, RIP Allen, as well as RIP, my only child, I guess my time in the gene pool wasn't necessary anyhow. Of course, I'm from that early 70''s to 80'. Maybe there's dozens of my love children out there, but that's just a happy thought...
