people hate on the three wide but let me explain why it's one of the best techniques. In my experience you can stack faster than two wide or even just regular tetrises. When you stack with a three wide it's skinnier and will be built up faster. Even if the opponent builds up a back to back tetris in the time it takes you to build up you can easily strike back with around 10 combos and send nearly 30 lines in a matter of seconds. 4 wides (for me personally) is hard to maintain and 2 wide doesn't combo as well as three wide. The only thing i can see working better is tspinning, but that's only if you're great at setting them up

3-wide actually sucks a lot, because it is extremely hard to run. However, even if you do manage to use it, it still isn't very effective. Also back to back tetrises is the most basic and easy techniques in the game along with 2-wide. In my opinion 4-wide, ZT stacking, and even freestyle t spins are the strongest ways of attacking your opponent. In short, 3-wide is absolute shit.

lol, you are the complete moron, tetris battle games are just recordings of someone's past game. So they don;t know their opponent is staring a combo. The only way to play live is to go to the arena, challenge someone, or play a friend, moron.
-
then ill use raid t spin like jason kwan aka sirjeivus and knock you out or just set up a infinite t spin combo.
-
they're both shitty
-
explain to me, how is the 4-wide user a complete moron? don't forget you always face a recorded game of your opponent unless you've been challenged by someone lol, and its clear that he was facing a recorded opponent

Average 3-Wide combo = 20 Tetris + BTB Tetris = 10 At first glance, it seems as if 3-Wide is overpowered. But setting up a full 3-wide takes a shitload of time, during which two tetrises can be made to counter....if done properly, a 3-wide setup can be completely foiled by quick Tetris/BTB. Point being that every technique in Tetris is fairly balanced out. Ultimately, it's skill that determines the victor.

The 4-wide user is a complete moron. He keeps stacking even when the opponent starts his combo.....and he continues to drop pieces and receives multiple K.O.'s.... He has a decent grasp of 4-wide, but his general tetris concept is absolute shit. Which is solely why shitty 3-wide won.

3 wide is not a technique, it's a cheap ass tactic that takes absolutely no talent whatsoever. Just so we're clear on that... Taking advantage of a flawed game mechanic that gives bonuses out for the simplest of lines to get is not what I would consider talented. Anyone can build a tower and then throw anything down the side -- it takes no talent. The name of the game is TETRIS, and the TETRIS is when you clear 4 lines at once. Do you get a bonus for that? No, you get a bonus for being CHEAP!
