After a seeing Ayame over Tatsumaru's dead body, he receives the treasured sword of his clan. We walks away, remembering the tragedies through out the game and confronts Lady Kagami. After besting her, she talks of ideals and unwavering resolve to win freedom as she dies. But Rikimaru delivers his most significant line ever. "I'll gladly suffer the title of Fool, if it means I can even save one Life from your Blood Drenched dream. Farewell Kagami..." Rikimaru has finaly become a mature Ninja after this even and meets Lord Gohda who fires flaming Arrrows on to the ship "Fire Demon" thus destroying it.

This game series had a huge impact on me as a kid and this was my favorite of title by a good stretch, immense nostalga and respect, would love to see a remake of the classic titles or a stealthy resurrection to the series in the not to distant future!
