Hey guys, What would happen if barrels of nuclear waste, fuel rods from reactors and other fissionable material were to be dropped into a volcano (one erupting)? Would we be able to dispose of it that way? What about dropping it into the Marianas Straight? If it could get into the subduction zone, could it be just drawn into the magma layer and be destroyed? I've wondered this for a long time (I'm 55 now) but can't seem to find the answer to these questions.

I wonder if the ISS has enough fuel to increase it's orbit to test radiation levels as you ascend in the magnetic field but I doubt it because of it's current low orbit it would take alot of fuel and I know I Spelt alot wrong I just don't remember the correct spelling I'm talking to you grammar Nazis.
