Is there intelligent life out there, what happened before the Big Bang, and what are the many outer space mysteries that we have yet to even fathom?? Here are 9 of the strangest mysteries we have found. Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr Number 6: Possible “Alien” Megastructure The strange flickering star discovered in September of 2015 KIC 8462852 is almost 1500 light years from Earth, and it’s the flickering that has scientists scratching their heads. The unusual change in brightness could be caused by a swarm of comets or or dust, but some are postulating that it may be evidence of extremely large objects constructed by an extraterrestrial civilization. Such as orbiting solar panels or habitats. The SETI organization is actively investigating this discovery with their Allen Telescope Array . If we decide to send these possible aliens a message it could be 3000 years before we receive a response! Number 5: Where is ET? Over 700 planets have been discovered outside our solar system. We have dozens of radio telescopes pointed at the stars listening for intelligent communications, and at of the time of the posting of this video there has been no credible sign of any alien contact. There are about a 100 million stars in our galaxy. Some of those stars have planets, and some of those have planets that can support life. Surely some of those could produce intelligent life? Some scientists and philosophers believe it is probable that there is life elsewhere in the galaxy, but given the distance between stars and the time required to travel to another star - it’s more likely that one civilization would go extinct before it could reach another space faring civilization. Number 4: Dark Flow - Gravity is like the currency of the Universe. If you have enough of it you can attract anything: Planets, Stars, and even galaxies. In the beginning, the stars, and the galaxies began expanding from the “center” of the The Big Bang. After taking measurements scientists discovered that there is a large distribution of galaxies being pulled in a direction that our own Universe can’t account for. They call it “Dark Flow”. Stars are literally being pulled toward a spot outside our own Universe. It’s controversial, but some astrophysicists postulate that this is a super concentration of matter exerting a gravitational pull on these galaxies, or possibly evidence of another Universe or a multiverse. Number 3: Super Massive Black Holes They are thought to live at the center of every galaxy. Super massive black holes. Typical black holes can be a few miles across, but the monster at the center of our galaxy contains hundreds of thousands of solar masses and is 14 million miles across. Called Sagittarius A it’s about 26,000 light years from Earth, and while we can’t see it we can detect its effect on the surrounding gasses and stars. Number 2: Black Dwarves In billions of years our sun will run out of hydrogen, expand to a red giant, shed those layers, and become a compact white dwarf. Over trillions of years it will cool. In theory when a white dwarf has cooled so much that it no longer emits light, radiation, or heat it will become a black dwarf. As a hypothetical star no black dwarf should exist, and if one were ever discovered it would be many trillions...maybe quadrillions of years old. They should only exist in a cold dead Universe. Number 1: What came before The Big Bang? What could there be before time and space? No one really knows, and astronomers can’t see that far into the Universe’s past. But they do have ideas albeit kooky - here we go: Perhaps a previous Universe became a blackhole and our Universe sprung from that blackhole. Another idea is based on the observation of something called virtual particles. These particles have been seen literally popping into and out of existence. What if after an immense amount of time a whole Universe’s worth of particles popped into existence at the same time. It could be that asking what came before The Big Bang is meaningless - since time began with The Big Bang. I guess we'll just have to wait for the scientists to figure it out… or not. What are some other mysteries out there in Space? We'd Love to hear what you have to say in the comments below. Don’t forget to like and subscribe to our channel for more fun videos like this one. Maybe if the anti socialist add had gotten the Mazda commercial voice guy it might not have been as obvious

Is there more humans on other planets?

the wow signal was the sound of a planet exploding
we will all be judged one day -
WOOHOO!!! 30,400th! lol

Would you mind telling us, just where your references are to this statement?

i believe in other lifeforms out there.. just love to hear the news before i die..
i do not believe the theory that life on this planet came from nothing.. -
Eris and Pluto aren't planets - they're dwarf planets. And, actually the furthest discovered dwarf planet is Sedna.

1:58 That's a really good artist's conception...

if you can't explain it then it is a possible alien mega structure.
what came before the big bang? that is if the big bang really happened. -
The WOW signal was already debunked..

He sounds like the cosmos guy Neil Tyson

There's 100 billion stars in our galaxy, genius, not 100 million.

what do I have a feeling I seen this before...

> Implying the sun isn't a hollow dimensional portal being eternally fed from a higher plane of reality.
Tesla frowns upon you! -
The Big Bang may have happened but that surely is not the beginning of time at all. The universe is HUGE and that question is out of our reach..for now

I think you put the wrong comment in the intro lol

We have dozens of discovered solar bodies in our system that one could consider as a 'dwarf-planet', i.e. Haumea, Make-Make, Ceres, 2 Pallas, and various other TNOs on the edge of the system.

Space is never ending. Yet does it end and what's on the other side? (Like a box) ? And if you believe in God, he created man in his image, what's to say he didn't create other forms of intelligent life? We are pioneers in space and haven't even explored our own planets yet. But if there is life out there would our government even tell us?
