Что-то телеметрия ерунду показывает, CRC уже на платформе болтается на волнах, а телеметрия показывает >20 000 км/ч

I think this is really cool and a huge achievement, but I didn't think it was necessary for them to start yelling "USA!". This is an achievement for humankind, not just for America.

why not show the full descent? - why only the last 400m?

there is literally no way

this means more money for Tesla Motors, which is good because means more investment in this kind of technology (electric cars), technology that Ford or GM and the rest have not made any change and just damaging our environment for the benefit of the owners of the oil companies.

very impressed with the landing, how that autonomous drone operate exactly? is it automatically calibrate with falcon position without any remote?

Thank goodness for the technical broadcast. As if we're not gonna hear 8,000 people putting in their two cents about it later on anyway. I'd rather just hear the thoughts of the scientists and engineers creating and running these marvels.
Not sure why half of my screen needs to be taken up with reaction shots of some dippy clueless collage kids with irritating voices. But, hey, if it makes people watch it instead of some sporting event, or celebrities dancing, then great. :-) I'll stick to the hipster free broadcast though. :-D

Is the glass sound proof? If not they need to shut up the crowd so the mission control people won't get annoyed.

It's hard to tell the size, but standing under the rockets at the bottom, you'd probably not be able to reach up and touch them. This thing is huge and it landed so flawlessly.
