Featuring guest commentator Fraser Cain of Universe Today (http://www.universetoday.com/ & https://www.youtube.com/user/universetoday) Yesterday Elon Musk gave his long anticipated presentation about making humanity a multi planet species, proposing a massive rocket that could carry 100 people on the voyage to Mars. Needless to say, this sounded like a fun Kerbal challenge. https://www.youtube.com/user/universetoday

The reason to keep H2 cold is because of the reverse Joule–Thomson effect. H2 will heat up when expansion, so you need cool the hydrogen first before you can transfer from storage to an empty tank.

MCT is not like the N1 lol

I really like when streamers have a good guest.

I just realized, regarding the way the tanker and crew vehicle are to work, that the tanker will basically blow a load into the crew vehicle's fuel tank... SpaceX will now be SpaceSex.

Nice Fraser Cain! Awesome. He was on the SGU couple of weeks ago ( not his first time there), I also follow his channel. I like when the things I follow meet each other like that.

You mean this guy was talking about humans going to other planets? Gee, I've never heard of that before.

At about 1:08:00 when you guys started talking about different pronunciations you had me in stitches xD
Yeah "Tuh-maw-toe" vs. "Tuh-may-toe" is a bit common and always good for a quick smirk but when you get into things like Aluminium vs. Aluminum things tend to go south fast...
Interesting little bit of history concerning the element in question... Sir Humphry Davy used several names for the element in a progression from Alumium to Aluminum before finally settling on Aluminium. Problems arose in north america over the next few decades because Webster's Dictionary only had Aluminum as the name at the time and over the years after Aluminum became more abundant the two names for the same metal became quite localized indeed... with the Europeans using the finalized Aluminium Davy stuck with and the Americans using the older Aluminum that got put into the dictionary without an update in years xD. -
What mods was he using

i doubt you could grow a tree in space unless you used a rotating circle thingy since plants rely on geotropism or gravitropism for growth of roots.

Wow, just look online and found out that it is pretty much impossible for a non US citizen to get a job in SpaceX because of crappy ITAR regulations. lucky i found that out a few weeks before i apply for universities
