Spacex Explosion's Mysterious "Bang" Sound Seconds Before - Tracing the Origin
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
There was a mysterious "bang" recorded seconds before the SpaceX pad anomaly explosion. Elon Musk sought the origin of this sound, which by timing seems to be connected tho the event. Having been produced much more than 93 milliseconds before the explosion (the telemetry recorded timeframe of the event), it does not seem to have come from anything monitored by SpaceX rocket telemetry. Having investigated the details of several other related sounds, it appears there are some characteristics of this bang sound, which allow us to differentiate its origin. To do this, we compare the sound composition, with sounds from other structures, similar to those from which it may have originated on the launch pad.

Great. SpaceX can't even be sure the failure was inside the rocket or
outside. They were ignorant of decades of NASA experience in handling
LOX and the dangers of insulation that may become soaked in it. At this
point it is a Unverified Failure of the launch vehicle AND ground
support hardware. This indicates a troubling lack if good systems
engineering. What other avoidable mistakes have been made? -
Looks like SpaceX is coming around to your analysis. Great work.

No doubt, you should be part of the investigation team at SpaceX.
