SpaceX DSCOVR Launch - A short tour of the Kennedy Space Center from the NASA Press Site
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
We are here at the Kennedy Space Center! I had some time today in between events to shoot a quick tour of the Kennedy Space Center and some of the changes taking place now that the Space Shuttles are retired. We take a look at the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB), the former Orbiter Processing Facilities (OPF), and of course the iconic NASA clock that was recently modernized from the old Apollo era time piece that has been seen by billions over the years. That was brilliant Lon. Really great to see a true space nut reporting from KSC. Brought back A LOT of memories of when i visited back in 1994.

My girlfriend and I are heading to Florida next week, we are strongly considering swinging by and checking out Cape Canaveral.
