Read more at https://www.flyingtoys.com This is one of those aircraft that inspires the mind and fires the heart and sole every time you fly it. It may only have 3 channels of control and it may be an infrared aircraft instead of R/C but that doesn't matter. Just because it can't fly outside and it can't fly backwards doesn't mean anything, you should buy one today. This is a another great step in a long line of side by side rotor aircraft from Silverlit. The space Zeta is getting us closer to that Sci-Fi dream we all have of owning our own hunter killer/avatar style aircraft. It's something of a prevalent dream among people who love flight and I think it taps into that deep longing we all have to stick our hands out and fly. It charges from the transmitter in about 35 minutes and flies for an amazing 7 and a half minutes. I have found that you can charge it with a Silverlit USB cable to save batteries and get more consistent flight times. The gyro stabilized air ducks on the side of the aircraft are used to direct thrust and turn the aircraft. They are controlled with a tiny electromagnetic actuator that moves a rod that moves the ducts in opposite directions. The aircraft moves forward by tilting both rotors and both ducts forward at the same time. It uses a piece of muscle wire that pulls on a main shaft that has both motors and the electromagnetic actuator that controls the ducts connected to it. It has a spring that pulls it back when you let of the control, it's a very clever system and a lot of fun to watch in action. If you have a chance check it out and stay tuned for more.
