It's T minus 10 hours until liftoff and space shuttle personnel are prepping for launch. The shuttle is loaded with its payload and propellant. All systems are checked, weather is monitored and a team of thousands works to ensure that all systems are go during the launch window. This video includes some of those sounds as the shuttle is being readied for takeoff. To make it as soothing as possible, only a portion is used to create the ten hour track and all extraneous noise has been removed.
