Space Shuttle Landing Atlantis Nasa HD. Space Shuttle Landing Atlantis Nasa HD video. Space shuttle Atlantis and 7 astronauts ended an 11 day journey to space. The landing was at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida November 27, 2009. The mission was named STS-129. It included 3 spacewalks and the installation of two platforms to the International Space Station's truss aka backbone. The platforms hold large spare parts to hold the station operations after the shuttles are retired. The shuttle astronauts delivered 30,000 pounds of replacement parts for systems that provide power to the international space station to keep it from overheating and to maintain a proper orientation in space. Nasa said this is Space Shuttle Atlantis final landing. Buy books about the space shuttle. http://www.amazon.com/Space-Shuttle-National-Transportation-Missions/dp/0963397451 http://www.nasa.gov

So this is what a Glider... sounds like ladies and gentleman.... a Glider, not a Jet Powered Aircraft.
-
No plop-splash in the ocean, no smack-thud in some desert... this is an American Space Plane coming in for a landing years ago. All children under 12 years of age should see these videos.. The new leadership in the USA will once again make America an exceptional leader in space as our US Astronauts hopefully will not have to hitch-hike rides on Russian spaceships .... These exciting and glorious videos have discrectionally hidden from our youngsters the past 8 years

runway 33rd degree, ooops.
-
its not just the Russians it could be any foeign country.I was just making a statement that our country is so broke that we have to have another country to launch supy missions to the dpace station.Thats
all.Did not mean to offend anyone.Hope you have a Happy New Year. -
As the shuttle rolls to a complete halt, isn't it cool to think about how you are actually witnessing the vehicle scrubbing off the very last joule of kinetic energy that was used to shove it into space on launch day?
-
I see the flaps but cough spoilers cough reverse thrust cough i hope air brakes cough flare too high* and nice touch down considering that space shuttles drop like a rock when they land
-
You can't imagine how hard there training to land was
-
Glider?? I don't think so. You can hear its jet engines as it lands and you can hear them powering down after it lands. people try and say its the "chase planes" you hear that are filming it, but thats complete horse crap as you can obviously tell this wasn't filmed from a plane and you only hear the jet engines as the shuttle gets close and lands....NASA is the biggest hoax agency on Earth.
Pretty much everything they tell us is absolute lies and deceptions. they even mock you with their images of planets. Go look at the new "Pluto" photos. They actually put an image of Pluto the Disney dog on it to make fun of everyone who believes their nonsense.
And before you gullible morons reply with the typical tin foil hat nonsense...try to come up with something a little more original. Or better yet, start thinking and question things -
It takes an airliner 20 min to land from 35,000 ft and the Space Shuttle 6 minutes at 80,000 ft. It must drop like a rock. Says a lot about the timing it takes to touch softly and on target.

It's the hammer! Just perfect
-
it came from chicago and landed in atlantis so cut the crup
-
NOT a glider. NOT enough wing surface to support the weight. HAS jet engine onboard. NASA lies, ALWAYS....
-
Its so sad as am American to see this beautiful aircraft land had how multi functional it was.Now our country cannot afford to launch a supply misson to the space station and now we have to rely on the Russians.Super Sad!!

Wtf is the http of this video
-
Shuttle program is very good to new pilots of nasa
-
