So they scrub for wind shear on the 27th, on the 28th the shear was worse, the temps were worse, and they go. With that kind of safety intelligence, I would say they were lucky to get to STS 25 before blowing one up.

You know they were having issues with parts when they have the hatch handle duct taped on (they lost a bolt inside the door during one attempt.

If they had launched on the 27th, the seal would likely have held.

Thank you for the awesome footage. Could you post the unedited versions as far as keeping the footage in without commentary for this and launch day? Sort of watching it as it happened. Hope you can do this for all missions. :) thanks again for awesome footage
