That Xenomorph death is a real let down, since from what I've heard it takes so long to actually kill you that even if you get it you are likely to complete the game with time to spare anyway. This is probably the only example of a "walking dead" failure state which is justified and theoretically good since it is an Aliens tribute, but they absolutely ruined it by making it take so long that people won't want to sit around and wait for it to kill them...
