Support DOS Nostalgia on Patreon: https://patreon.com/dosnostalgic A non-interactive demo of Space Quest V: The Next Mutation. Interesting because of a few unique resources and its use of Dynamix's in-house adventure tools instead of Sierra's engine that the final game uses. Wow, I didn't know Sprint was around back then.
I pretty much ignored the Space Quest series back in the day, but after watching this I want to play it now :-) -
Holy cow, I remember this. Sierra was the king

Very good game.
My favorite game of the 90's: Dino Park Tycoon

This brings me back. It was my favorite game for a long time, but I always played it with the PC speaker, because that's all I had. Years later I got a Soundblaster and played it...and I honestly hated it. The music and sound effects were way better with the PC speaker, and there were some really annoying sounds in the Soundblaster mix that weren't there in the PC, like Roger farting and making Homer Simpson "d'oh!" noises when he fell over. Really dragged down the comedy for me and made the whole thing seem so much cheaper.

I remember this coming on a magazine cover CD not long after I got a CD-ROM drive. One of those CDs absolutely cram packed with shareware, demos, and weird odds and ends.. absolutely mind blowing at the time :-D

Oh man, the parody of the Star Trek original series theme is hilarious. :3 Every time you think you know where it's going, it throws another silly jazz surprise chord at you :3

0:31 Not sure why you'd want to advertise your music and sound as "ear splitting"

Sierra's quests was really pain in ass (except great Quest for Glory 1-4). I still remember, that I couldn't beat the Larry 2 even with game guide =)
p.s. and I'm not mention overcruel copy protection (King Quest 6 is worst example ever).
