1992 aint the year of the dragon sweetie lol

I still have the comic that came with Space Quest 2 when it came out. The manuals that Sierra used to make put the modern ones to shame! I've kept all the old manuals to this day.
-
Two words: GOD. YES.
-
@JBroomie Still cleaning up?
-
I am looking forward to this hard core. I had this game back in the day, but the last disk was faulty, and I never had a chance to complete it. Now with this remake, I will enjoy it all over again... but like never before!
-
Isn't some of the music from the 1955 giant monster movie "Tarantula"? The style of this trailer certainly mimics the film trailer in a good way.
-
@PolizeiPaul Who? Activision? IA? AGDI? Hell, Magic Mirror or Telltale? I know there's been a Police Quest 2 remake bandied about, but if anything will ever happen with it, who knows?
-
@JBroomie Zeek?
-
This game better be out already!
-
Wow, awesome!
-
Make the game along with Kings Quest, Police Quest, Simon The Sorcerer, Drangon Sphere, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (best), Day of the Tenticle, and the rest.
-
Thanks Gangularis. Yeah, we had planned to release it in March but our lead programmer decided to get married and it's delayed the game quite a bit. It's pretty much complete with just a few things needed cleaning up but it is coming soon, don't worry.
-
@JBroomie Awesome, that GUI was the best gui sierra had for it's games of that era!!
-
They say this game will be officially released in March.
-
Agreed, though I would have loved hearing the trailer done like the guy Pablo Francisco loves to copy.
-
I've been playing the SQ series since i was 6! It's good to finaly see a remake!
-
holy shit, I can't belive this is happening after all these years, a remake of SQII, I can't wait
-
They don't have to. All the others are already in VGA style, save for 6, which has hand-drawn animation, and 3, which doesn't really need it.
-
Thanks. The GUI's are the same from Space Quest 1 VGA and 4. It just seemed better that way, more Space Quest like. And 32 bit allows our artists the freedom to make the intended background without any limits or hassles. Having only 256 colors to choose from would make it very difficult for our artists and each background would need more time than necessary when we can get fantastic and quicker results using the full palette but still maintain that VGA look. :)
