Space Quest 0 - Part 8: Aelienation
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
Nathaniel plays and talks his way through Space Quest 0: Replicated, a fan-made PC prequel to the Space Quest series of comedic adventure games. Part 8 of 8. In this part, Roger makes his way deeper into the cloning facility, and then deeper and deeper as he repeatedly falls down a maintenance shaft. It takes several tries, but Roger finally navigates the maze of cables and wires well enough to die by electrocution as well. On the other end of the shaft is a room of wasted potential, which is adjacent to a room of poor text parser feedback. Roger makes his way even deeper into the facility as he falls to his doom down a different shaft. This happens a couple times; it's the theme of the video. Combining three of his inventory items into a Molotov cocktail, Roger manages somehow to NOT explode himself, destroying instead the generator that controls the force field blocking his progress into the arena where he somehow manages to NOT die at the hands of the '76 Light Sword Champion. Roger, surviving is so unlike you. With the cloning facility cranking out insurance salesmen instead of soldiers, and the villainous Ael lying in a heap from losing a duel, Roger triumphantly escapes with Xavi, discovers he came up several points short of a perfect score, and returns to a handful of places throughout the game where forgot to do things. Most of which involve horrible, horrible death. The end. Brought to you by GameCola.net.

I like to imagine that, whenever Rodger dies in game, his tombstone says:
"He never got to use his crowbar >:¬€ -
OMG: I've been so looking forward for this ! XD sadly, as the say goes, all good things must end. hopefully, you'll be doing more videos in the future, and I'm very exited about it. ^^

I've really enjoyed this one.

"it drowns it out" that evil music..... drowning stuff and stuff...

Ah-hah! You have discovered the darkest secret of my recording situation: That sound you're hearing is my computer. It sounds like it's going to take off. During the parts where I'm not talking, I manually silence the audio so you don't hear that whirring; it's totally there in the Mega Man videos, too, but the music completely drowns it out.

I like it! And thanks! I am indeed working on MM7 now, so keep on the lookout for that.

Buh...what's up, specifically, with my microphone?
