Space Oddity - KC Roberts & The Live Revolution (David Bowie Cover)
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
Chino and KC were just hanging out, and wanted to make some music in the bathroom. The bathroom sort of begins to feel like the tiny capsul in space, from David Bowies epic song "Space Oddity". We really hope you enjoy! Can you hear me, Major Tom? Can you hear me, Major Tom? Can you.... "Here am I floating round my tin can Far above the Moon Planet Earth is blue And there's nothing I can do."

Why does the song Space Oddity have to be covered and played over and over again in our heads till we are dead. BECAUSE the concept of space travel is losing steam. The idea is not sustainable anymore. Science works off the precept of repeatable and universal deduced observation. Was the moon landing a repeatable and universally deduced observation? Obviously not so what is the best way to usurp science than to reinforce the meme of space travel through folk songs. Oh and by the way, anyone curious why the song was called Space Oddity? Look up the Odd Fellows Free Mason cult. Chris Hadfield is a member.

Really cool piece! -
Well done! Love the funky take.... Okay, I've been listening to about 20 covers of this song tonight on YouTube. Some really great ones, some produced professionally and done superbly. But NONE took such a fresh take on this classic and beautiful song. Nor did any of them get SO much production value out of so little like you guys did. Truly and thoroughly enjoyed this!!! I think I'll be giving this one several listens. Thank you!

Great percussion, great session, but looks like you don't understand the song. Is not a happy song. One more time, congratz for the jam.
