Michael Jordan is the ringer turned player/coach who leads this band of misfits, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Elmer Fudd, on a path of discovery about what they can accomplish. Controversially, Jordan fed everyone some sort of "Special Stuff" at halftime that changed the whole tenor of the game in the Looney Tunes favor. While the Monstars committed some costly mistakes down the stretch, it was Michael's individual brilliance, and flexibility, that saved the day.

+BBALLBREAKDOWN This is a fun Breakdown. If the movie didn't have Michael Jordan, Lola would've been the main focus and the heroine of the story. The Alien subplot would be the same, only, again, Lola is the focus, plus the Looney Tunes would be actors, like in "A Star is Bored" and "Looney Tunes Back in Action", rather than living in Hell. Also, if the animators did a much better job studying Basketball like they did with their previous shorts, like Baseball (Baseball Bugs) and Golf (My Bunny Lies Over the Sea), it would be funny or understandable... but since we have an actual basketball player i.e. Michael Jordan, it kinda ruins the fun.
