The game is set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe and based upon the strategy board game Space Hulk. The game was released in December 14, 2016 on PC and will be released in early 2017 for consoles. In Space Hulk: Deathwing, the player is a Librarian of the Dark Angels 1st company of Space Marines. Librarian's are Space Marines that unlike other Space Marines can use the power of the Warp, also known as the The Immaterium. The Librarians use traditional weaponry of the Space Marines, such as the Bolter and Power Swords, but also use their psychic might against their foes. One such psychic ability that some librarians can use is Hellfire, which sends fire coursing through the enemy. As such, Librarians are highly respected by their brethren. They also keep the Chapter's history, but as in the case of the Blood Ravens, the history can sometimes be lost. Librarians can protect their brother's from the malignant attentions of enemy psykers by the use of their psychic hoods to project their power to help their brothers.

I feel I am missing a lot on this 40k war hammer series.

Yeah, having a go at people who give negative reviews for a game that's broken is fucked up bro. Victim blaming at its finest.
-
Seeing the score for the game and hearing about the performance problems definitely made me lose interest in Deathwing. Hopefully these issues are fixed but even then I think people will be miffed by the game being light on content. Looks like a game to buy on sale and not full price (depending on how inevitable additional content is handled)

This looks like an FPS on the most basic level. Shoot, shoot, shoot. That's it.
Also, 7:32 the thing is that it SHOULD work on release, ESPECIALLY if they already had a bloody beta for people to play. -
One of my roommates is a Warhammer 40k fan, but is a Mac person.
So, unless he grabs a console, he probably won't be playing Space Hulk: Deathwing. -
This game reminds me of Metroid Prime Federation Force. lol
Looks cool though. -
This game seems a little too repetitive for my tastes. I also feel the bugs might ruin my experience.

good coverage of the gameplay and issues. thank you.

It's good to finally see a decent first-person Warhammer 40k game. It has it's flaws, just like Streum-On's previous games, but it nails the feel of the universe better than any of its predecessors.

KILLZONE SERIES!!!!!

Gggmanlives, you should review Wolfenstein the Dark army: uprising, it's a standalone mod that has been recently released on moddb

The muzzle flash is a big deal breaker for me. Can't play the game if I'm dead from a fucking seizure

Hey dude just found your channel. Really love your reviews and I REALLY enjoy how you tell us about the game and the storyline. Just an overall great quality channel thanks for doing what you do! Been binge watching your videos!

Do a review on c-12 final resistance pleas

Personally I found this game really boring and uninspired. I like Warhammer 40k but I feel like a slow shooter with some occasional melee isn't what suits it the best. Space Marine was much closer to what a W40K shooter should be like.

Hey, think you can review Verdun? Which is basically what Battlefied 1 should have been.

Hey man, Decent review. Only 1 thing i'd have to disagree with you on.. The steam people who give it a negative review because of fps drop to no end... Dont forget you have a 1080 so its somewhat playable during big fights. Most people have mid tier machines running 280s or 960s so they're probably getting hit down to 10fps.. If t were early access its totally understandable. But anyways, i think most people would agree, any full release game that hits 10fps because its un optimized and has a ton of bugs , deserves a negative rating. If they released this as Early Access and 3 months later had a full release, people would of been more understanding.
