Having chosen a landing site and sucessfully landed we now build a small exploration rover to scout out ore deposits and help with initial transport of ore. The plan is to use this simple rover to explore and as a basic platform to upgrade in future, so we only use non-critical parts from the lander to build it. so im trying to build a rover like you did, and when i plop down the temoprary landing gear, it doesnt hold my rover in place... what did i do wrong??

i made 3 gyroscopes incase it flips

With the current version of the game, you can no longer "stick" a landing gear to the platform... so, you'll have to come up with some other way to support the rover while you build it. I tried it... got as far as the "flip over bar", which glitched out when I tried setting up the rotor, destroyed pretty much the entire thing and killed me. Then there weren't enough components left to re-build it... 2 fucking hours completely wasted because the auto-save happened immediately after I spawned. FUCK this goddamned game.

@w4stedspace I'm having issues with your model. I'm in 1.157 and I'm noticing in somewhat rough terrain that it bounces terribly, and is very quickly demo'd by wolves.

Hey, great video. I am new to the game and found your video very helpful. The only issue I am having is that the lever breaks off the rotor whenever I lock or unlock the landing gear. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!
