Great job you two, an excellent episode and work on remaking Space Slug. Although its awesome that the Space Slug II can separate into two ship, as you guys said, the problem when in full speed or in any movement it will cause damage to both slug ships when separating or combining there gonna hit each other and cause serious damage to one another because of the grove design.
Is there anyway you guys could add a piston(if there is a smaller one) under the lower merge block from the Big Slug to raise it up?. That way the Little Slug when separating could have a full clear take off and not bump into each other, and when the Little Slug approaches for a merging you can just raise up the lower merge block from the Big Slug for a more clean and secure merging. You should also add camera under the Little Slug or above the Big Slug beside there merge blocks so you guys can align better.
Totally understandable if its not possible because of the design of the ship, but maybe this changes can help you a bit. But other than that great episode as always you guys so looking forward for your next project. -

She is really cool, and I love the fact that she looks like an evolution of the original. Nice design, Jars.
