Have you ever seen the anime series "Kaiba"? This episode was quite a lot like that, in fact it was written by one of the people who worked on that show. But still, this episode feels more like what could've been an episode in Kaiba than what we're used to with Space Dandy.

didn't like this episode, either. It was so trippy, and not in a good way. I'd imagine the entire episode looked as if I was doing drugs (I don't do them, so I really wouldn't know, but yanno) The pacing was slow, it seemed to focus too much on the scenery, the plot was weak and uninteresting to me, and tbh, I could only get through half the episode.

Does Space Dandy even have an actual story line? Lol like some episodes, some crazy stuff happens, like when they were turned into zombies, or when Dandy went to another like universe? But then in the next episode, it's like nothing even happened...

This episode is dedicated to all the artists and animation enthusiasts out there, it was definately more of a visual journey than a narrative one. But for me, the real star of this particular episode goes to South Korean artist Eunyoung Choi. If anybody is familiar with her works (especially her beautiful sand art) then i think they'll appreciate it more. Props to Watanabe for given her free rein to direct, storyboard and handle the character design in this one. 8/10
